Department Water Affairs

KhulaNonke Training and Development successfully completed a training programme for DWA Mpumalanga Region to train 20 members of Ilanga Water Users Association on Water Users Governance.

KhulaNonke in association with Aurecon Training Academy provided training to process controllers in water and wastewater treatment in the North West (232), Free State (250) and Northern Cape (261) provinces.


Nkangala District Municipality

KhulaNonke has completed a learnership training programme at NQF level 4 for the unemployed youth in Environmental Practice for Nkangala District Municipality leading up to December 2013 with 92% learner success rate.

Maluti-A-Phofung Water

KhulaNonke provided a skills training programme for MAP Water in drinking water and wastewater quality sampling procedures and techniques as an integral part of the Blue and Green Drop Certification programmes in May 2012.

Motheo FET College

KhulaNonke in partnership with Motheo FET College and Aurecon are training 553 unemployed youth in the Free State province in Water and wastewater treatment and reticulation network services. The project is funded by EWSETA leading up 2016 and forms an integral part of assisting the municipalities in the Free State province to improve their Green Drop and Blue Drop Certification performances.

KhulaNonke was appointed by the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) to provide a skills training programme in Waste Management at NQF level 2 in East London. The training programme was completed in March 2014.

KhulaNonke was appointed by Mashalaba Consulting on behalf of the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) to provide a skills training programme in Waste Management at NQF level 2 in Reitz (Nketoane Local Municipality) to train 25 unemployed youth within Thabo Mofutsanyane District Municipality.
